- Robust 12 port deterministic Ethernet switch for critical real-time applications
- Future-proof 3U VPX Vita 46.0 form factor with conduction cooling
- Secure partitioning between three traffic classes (time-triggered, rate-constrained and standard Ethernet traffic)
- 24 Gbit/s full wire-speed performance
- Built-in management module
- Enables fault-tolerant high-speed data communication backbones in/on vehicles with > 80 % effective bandwidth
The Bit-IPC Switch-MIL technology enables hard real-time operation in safety-critical distributed systems based on Ethernet networks. Bit-IPC MIL switches and end systems maintain the hard real-time data communication and take care of robust partitioning among standard Ethernet, rate-constrained and time-triggered Ethernet traffic. High-priority time-triggered messages are routed through the switch according to a predefined schedule with fixed latency and a transmission jitter in the submicrosecond range. Rate-constrained messages are routed and policed according to their guaranteed bandwidth. All other Ethernet messages are forwarded when bandwidth is available.
12 Full-Duplex 1 Gbit/s Ethernet Ports
The Bit-IPC Switch-MIL is a high-speed deterministic Ethernet switch enabling critical network centric applications in harsh environments. The high-performance switch enables packet processing at all twelve ports with full line speeds. TTEthernet technology allows to conveniently configure the switch during system design time for deterministic processing of critical (time-triggered, rate-constrained) and non-critical Ethernet traffic.
